Politics continues over the film ‘The Kashmir Files’, which shows the story of the exodus of Kashmiri Pandits. Politics dominated the film in Bihar on March 28. Here is the NDA government. BJP leader and Deputy Chief Minister in Nitish government Tarakishore Prasad distributed film tickets to the MLAs in the assembly. Many MLAs tore this ticket. A special show of the film was organized in the evening. All the BJP leaders reached in this. However, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and all the big leaders of JDU kept a distance from it.
Let us inform that the Bihar government like many BJP ruled governments has kept the film tax free. There was talk of showing The Kashmir Files by the BJP to all the members of the Bihar Legislative Assembly since last week. When the members arrived on Monday, they were given tickets in an envelope. Many members protested by tearing the ticket. Many MLAs opposed it by raising the matter in the House. RJD, Congress opposed it outside the house as well. JD(U) MLAs also did not take interest in BJP’s initiative.
Ruckus in Delhi Assembly: Apart from Bihar, BJP MLAs created a ruckus in the assembly in Delhi. BJP leader Adesh Gupta was opposing the indecent remarks made in the assembly towards AAP MLA Arvind Kejriwal. This comment is also regarding the statement related to the film The Kashmir Files of the AAP government.
Let us inform that on behalf of the government it was said in the assembly that the film has earned Rs 200 crore, now it should be put on YouTube. This was said in response to the demand of the government to make the film tax free. Regarding this, BJP leader Tejender Pal Singh Bagga had tweeted abusing him.
Apart from this, Adesh Gupta also reiterated what was written in Bagga’s tweet. There was a ruckus in the Legislative Assembly over this matter. AAP MLAs raised slogans in Delhi Assembly and demanded that BJP apologize for the statement of Delhi BJP President Adesh Gupta. Your MLAs were raising slogans in the well. Gupta had targeted Arvind Kejriwal while referring to Bagga’s tweet at an event on 26 March.
What Kejriwal said: AAP chief and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal says that BJP is busy promoting a film instead of doing something for Kashmiri Pandits. Director Vivek Agnihotri has made The Kashmir Files film with Anupam Kher and Pallavi Joshi. They say that this is a true story of atrocities on Kashmiri Hindus. All the BJP leaders are also promoting the film by saying the same. Congress and other opposition parties are telling half truth or exaggerated truth.
