The country’s Solicitor General Tushar Mehta was injured after falling in the bathroom on Thursday, which was informed by Additional Solicitor General Aishwarya Bhati during the hearing of a case on Thursday. Bhati had informed that Tushar Mehta had slipped and fell in his bathroom after which he was taken to AIIMS Hospital, where he was sent home after treatment.
Tushar Mehta has suffered a head injury and has got 4 stitches. However, on Friday morning, Solicitor General Tushar Mehta reached the court early in the morning and appeared in action. Tushar Mehta was the first to mention the roll call on Friday. Roll calls contain matters that require immediate attention and are brought to the notice of the Chief Justice of India.
SG Tushar Mehta raised the issue of contempt charges on Bombay Municipal Commissioner and demanded an early hearing. The court agreed to consider the SG’s demand. Talking about his health, the Solicitor General said that he was completely fit and fine.
