New Delhi. There is a relief news from Indian Railways for the people making long journeys by rail. In view of the demand and convenience of the passengers, Indian Railways has resumed the facility of Monthly Season Ticket by South East Central Railway (SECR). This type of ticket holders are being given the facility to travel in unreserved coaches of 23 long distance Mail-Express trains. As per the information received by the Railways, passengers holding MST in the specified trains are allowed to travel in unreserved coaches on the designated section. Under this, this facility is being provided in 23 Mail-Express trains between Bilaspur, Raipur and Gondia sections. Let us tell you, due to the lockdown during the Corona period, the facility of monthly ticket was closed, which remained closed for about 2 years. But now again keeping in mind the demand of the passengers, the railways has restarted this facility. This not only saves the time of the passengers traveling in the train every day, but also saves money.
As per the information provided by the railways, this facility has been started in Raipur, Bilaspur division in Amarkantak Express, Link Express, Chhattisgarh Express, Howrah-Ahmedabad Express. Apart from this, Gondia-Mumbai Express, Tirupati-Bilaspur Express, South Bihar Express, Navtanwa Express, Kanpur-Durg Express, Durg-Nizamuddin Express, Bilaspur-Nagpur Express, Kolhapur-Gondia Express, Raigarh-Nizamuddin Gondwana Express in Nagpur, Raipur Division. The facility of monthly ticket till the distance has been provided.
It is worth noting that for the last three months, more than 30 trains of SECR section have been canceled by the Railways. Due to which the passengers were facing many problems. But now the railways has removed their troubles.
