The Indian cricket team will tour Ireland in June for a two-match T20I series. This was confirmed by Cricket Ireland on Tuesday (March 1). Apart from the Indian team, teams from South Africa and New Zealand will also play the series in Ireland. Team India will play T20 series in Ireland for the second time. Earlier in 2018, he won the two-match series 2-0.
Cricket Ireland (CI) on Tuesday announced the home schedule of its men’s team. The dates and venues for the Afghanistan series are still not confirmed. CI chief executive Warren Deutrom said the men’s team would play a record number of matches for Ireland this summer. These include three ODIs and 12 T20 matches.
The Indian team will play both the T20 matches in Malahide. The Indian team will go on a tour of England. Before that these matches will be played. New Zealand will play three T20 matches against Ireland in Malahide on July 10, 12 and 15. After this, three ODIs will be played at Storemont on 18, 20 and 22 July. After New Zealand, South African team will go to Ireland. There will be two T20 matches in Bristol on August 3 and August 5.
