Workers of Shiv Sena, Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) and Congress are planning to stage a protest against Prime Minister
Narendra Modi during his upcoming visit to Pune. The Prime Minister is scheduled to visit Pune on March 6. These three parties are part of the ruling Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) alliance in Maharashtra.
Pune NCP chief Prashant Jagtap and Congress chief Ramesh Bagwe announced this on Friday. Local leaders said that this protest would be against the statement made by the Prime Minister in Parliament in which he had held the Maharashtra government responsible for the spread of the corona virus epidemic.
Jagtap said, ‘Prime Minister Narendra Modi, while commenting in the Lok Sabha to get votes in the Uttar Pradesh assembly elections, had said that Maharashtra has spread corona virus to other states of the country. It was an insult to our state. Therefore, during his Pune visit, all three parties will launch a ‘Modi go back’ movement.
Party workers will demonstrate at every crossroads wearing black clothes
The NCP leader said the protest would be organized at all intersections in the city and the protesters would wear black clothes. Let us inform that Prime Minister Modi may visit Pune for the inauguration of Metro Rail service on March 6, but no official announcement has been made about his program yet.
