Mahashivratri 2022: Mandsaur (Naiduniya representative) Devotees are reaching Lord Shri Pashupatinath temple since Tuesday morning on account of Mahashivratri festival. From the ghats of Shivana river to the sanctum sanctorum, the entire temple complex is lit up with attractive electrical decorations. Other decorations have also been done. The doors of Lord Pashupatinath temple have opened at four in the morning on the occasion of Mahashivratri. Which will now be closed after 33 hours at 1 pm on March 2. In the night, there will be abhishekam, makeup of all the four prahars. On Mahashivratri, more than 50 thousand devotees are expected to reach in a day.
More than 150 police personnel are stationed on the temple premises, ghats, parking lots and the routes leading to and from the devotees. On Tuesday night, there will be abhishekam, makeup, bhajan-kirtan and abhishek of the four prahars in the temple. On March 2, at four o’clock in the morning, with the consecration of the fourth prahar, there will be a panoramic make-up. The control room in the temple premises is being monitored by 75 cameras.
After two years, the beauty of the temple complex is visible
Nearly two years will be completed in all three waves of Corona. Due to this, after 2019, devotees are coming to the temple without any restrictions on Mahashivratri festival. Till now, thermal screening and wearing of masks was mandatory in the temple. This time there is no veil of restrictions between the devotee and God. However, due to the large number, entry is not being given in the sanctum sanctorum. The bags of the devotees are being kept outside the entrance gate itself.
