Khajuraho. On the occasion of Mahashivratri, a meeting of matriarchy was organized in the auditorium of the city council to give grandeur to Shiv Barat. In which Mother Shakti has decided to invite other devotees including women by distributing yellow rice to join the Shiva procession.
In the meeting, Mayanka Gautam, Madhu Aggarwal, Kavita Awasthi, Namita Srivastava, Kalpana Bharti, Pushpa Ahirwar, Sumintra Ahirwar decided their respective responsibilities. It was decided that Matrishakti would go door-to-door by giving yellow rice and especially inviting women to attend the procession. Efforts will be made to attend them in maximum numbers including the dress code of yellow saree. City Council CMO Basant Chaturvedi told that the members of Pratap Youth Association Chhatarpur will perform attractively. Similarly, other programs will be presented by the traders of Khajuraho in front of Radha Rani Market along with the presentations of the artists who have come from Mathura Vrindavan. Lamps will be lit in all the houses of Khajuraho Nagar.

Chhatarpur. Under the National Pulse Polio Campaign, all children of 0 to 5 years of age in rural and urban areas of the district will be given polio medicine at booths on Sunday. On Monday and Tuesday, the remaining children would be given polio medicine from door to door.
It has been told that for this 2378 booths have been made in Chhatarpur district. In which a target has been set to provide polio medicine to 3 lakh 3 thousand 776 children in the age group of 5 years. A public awareness rally was taken out from the district hospital on Saturday. The rally was flagged off by CMHO Dr. Vijay Pathoria, Dr. Mahendra Gupta Civil Surgeon, Dr. Mukesh Prajapati. The rally was completed from District Hospital via Mahal Road, MLB School, Kishore Sagar Marg, Akashvani Tiraha, Post Office intersection at District Hospital. The rally was attended by Dr. Sharad Chaurasia District Health Officer, Deepti Jain IC Advisor, ANM of urban area, urban ASHA workers, students of Jeevan Jyoti College, Ramdev College, Avantibai College, SBN College.
