New Delhi. Sunita Kejriwal, wife of Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, has come under the scanner. A lawyer has filed a complaint against him and others for allegedly sharing the court proceedings of the Delhi Chief Minister, accused in the Delhi liquor policy scam case, on social media. The complaint filed by a lawyer claimed that the court hearing was recorded and broadcasted on social media platforms by Sunita Kejriwal and other political leaders.
The complaining lawyer has also sent a legal notice to the social media platforms to remove the video showing the court proceedings presided over by Special Judge Kaveri Baweja on March 28. The complainant accused Sunita Kejriwal, other accused persons and political parties in this case of willfully disobeying the video conferencing rules of the court dated October 26, 2021.

The people against whom these allegations have been made include the names of Sunita Kejriwal, Akshay, Promila Gupta (Councillor, Ward 11, Timarpur), Vineeta Jain (Vice President of Congress Rajasthan) and Arunesh Kumar Yadav. In the complaint, the lawyer has accused the Aam Aadmi Party members of hatching a ‘pre-planned conspiracy’ to deliberately try to ‘defame and manipulate the court proceedings’ through audio and video recordings.

It is noteworthy that Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal was presented by ED on March 28 in Delhi’s Rouse Avenue Court on charges of money laundering in connection with the Delhi Liquor Policy scam. The complainant alleged that Promila Gupta (Councilor), former member of Delhi Commission for Women and former member of the Governing Body of SPM College, posted the video/audio recording of the court proceedings on social media. While other AAP members reposted, forwarded and shared it. Arvind Kejriwal was arrested by ED on March 21 in the Delhi Excise Policy case. His judicial custody was extended till April 15 and he is currently lodged in Tihar Jail.
