Prime Minister Narendra Modi reached Mysuru, Karnataka on Sunday where he met sculptor Arun Yogiraj. Yogiraj himself has carved the idol of Ramlala installed in the Ram temple of Ayodhya. This short meeting took place when PM Modi had reached Maharaja College Ground in Mysore for election campaign. During this, while replying to the greeting of Yogiraj, the PM also greeted him. News agency ANI has released pictures of the meeting of the two, which are now going viral on social media.
‘Questions are asked about Ramlala’s eyes’
Speaking to ANI, sculptor Arun Yogiraj said, “Most of the questions I get asked are about Ramlala’s eyes. Everyone is happy and Lord Ram feels alive. People ask me how I did it? My answer to this is that I did not make it. Lord Ram has created it. Most of the questions people ask are about Ramlala’s eyes. Yogiraj told that his staff says that looking at Ramlala, it seems as if he is going to talk to us.

Know about Arun Yogiraj-
Arun Yogiraj is the son of famous sculptor Yogiraj Shilpi. Arun’s grandfather is known for beautifying the palaces of the Wadiyar family. Arun comes from a family of Mysore palace artists. Arun did not want to become a sculptor like his ancestors. Did MBA from Mysore University in 2008. After this he worked for a private company. His grandfather had predicted that Arun would become a great sculptor and after 37 years it came true.
Arun Yogiraj has made the idol of 5 year old Ram Lala on Krishna Shila. Krishna Shila has been taken out from Karakala in Karnataka. Last year in February-March, this stone was selected to make the idol of Ram Lalla. After this, a 10 ton, 6 feet wide and 4 feet black stone was brought to Ayodhya from Karnataka on which Arun Yogiraj carved the idol of Lord Ramlala.
