Jaipur. Gayatri Rathod, Principal Secretary, Tourism Department, said that there is a lot of similarity in the culture of Rajasthan and Mexico. The historical heritage and natural sites of both the states have their own unique identity around the world. Cultural exchange of both the states will boost tourism. Mrs. Rathod had a courtesy call on the Director General of Mexico’s “The Indian Travel Life” Miss Carmen Morgan Vazquez at the Government Secretariat on Friday. During this, there was a fruitful discussion between the two to promote mutual tourism.
The Principal Secretary presented brochures of Rajasthan tourism products to the representatives of travel trade of Mexico. He said that due to mutual coordination and exchange between the two states, not only will tourism get a new identity, but the industries associated with it will also get a boost. He said that Rajasthan’s tourism heritage not only has grand forts and palaces, but the vast deserts, wildlife adventure tourism, crafts, clothing and apparel also keep their mark.
Miss Vazquez, Director General, “The Indian Travel Life” said that we are planning to organize a mega event on India’s tourism showcasing the six Indian states of Rajasthan, Andhra Pradesh, Kerala, Maharashtra, Uttar Pradesh and Tamil Nadu. . He said that India is the first choice of people of all age groups when they plan to visit Mexico for their holidays.
On this occasion, Director of Tourism Nishant Jain, Director of The Indian Travel Life Vinay Kumar Sharma along with officers of the department were also present.
