Srinagar, Aug 21 (IANS) | Three Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM) terrorists have been killed in an ongoing encounter in South Kashmir’s Pulwama district. Officials gave this information on Saturday. “Three unidentified terrorists belonging to the banned terror outfit Jaish-e-Mohammed have been killed. Searches are on,” police said.
On the basis of intelligence, a search operation was conducted in the upper areas of Nagberan Tral, Awantipora. After which a joint team of police and army cordoned off the area. As the security forces reached the spot where the terrorists were hiding, they opened fire on the security forces, triggering an encounter.
