The Bharatiya Janata Party, which is going to form the government again after 37 years in Uttar Pradesh, under the leadership of Yogi Adityanath, is engaged in the exercise of correcting caste equations. The BJP has started giving a grand look to Yogi Adityanath’s swearing-in at the Ekana Stadium on March 25. Invitations have been sent to the Prime Minister, Home Minister, Chief Ministers of BJP-ruled states and eminent personalities of the country to attend the swearing-in. Eminent industrialists of the country are also said to be involved in this function.
The BJP, which again formed the government of full majority in Uttar Pradesh, has adopted a new strategy this time under the leadership of Adityanath. Preparations are on to ensure the participation of the entire Uttar Pradesh in the formation of the cabinet to be held after the swearing-in ceremony of Adityanath on March 25. For example, three MLAs from western Uttar Pradesh, two from Rohilkhand, four from Bundelkhand, five from central Uttar Pradesh and seven from eastern Uttar Pradesh are believed to get a place in the cabinet.
Not only this, this time also the party high command is preparing to bet on two Deputy Chief Ministers. Among them, one deputy chief minister is said to be from the Brahmin community. There is a valid reason for this. During the elections to the 18th Legislative Assembly, the displeasure of the Brahmins came to the fore partly in some places with the Bharatiya Janata Party. In this election, about 20 percent Brahmins had joined the Samajwadi Party and other parties.
To remove this resentment of Brahmins, BJP is preparing to bet on a strong Brahmin leader. The name of Laxmikant Bajpai is at the top of this. Under whose leadership the BJP had registered a landslide victory in the 2014 Lok Sabha elections and won 75 out of 80 Lok Sabha seats in the state. Laxmikant Bajpai has been included in the grassroots leaders of the state.
At the same time, the name of Baby Rani Maurya has also figured prominently in the post of Deputy Chief Minister. In fact, after the crushing defeat of Keshav Prasad Maurya from Sirathu, the party wants to give the post of Deputy Chief Minister in his place to a leader who has a lot of interference in the fraternity. Accordingly, the name of Baby Rani Maurya is at the forefront.
In the assembly elections, the Bharatiya Janata Party along with its allies won 255 seats and 273 seats. Of these, there are 89 MLAs from Backward Classes, 63 from Scheduled Castes and two from Scheduled Tribes. In the Yogi cabinet, it is being said that a lot of priority should be given to Bundelkhand region. The biggest of this is the Har Ghar Nal Yojana in this area and the plans for development around Bundelkhand.
Prime Minister August 2, 2021
Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh and all the Chief Ministers of the BJP government will attend the swearing-in at the Ekana Stadium on March 25. 50,000 people have been invited for the swearing-in ceremony. These include the famous industrialists of the country. Preparations are being made to sweeten the mouths of the people coming to the oath-taking ceremony. The work of decorating the Ekana Stadium and the entire Lucknow city like a bride has started.
After 37 years, how many ministers of which caste do the BJP, which forms the government of Uttar Pradesh for the second time in a row, give place to the Yogi cabinet? Only time will tell this. But it is certain that this time Brahmins will be given special preference in the Yogi government. Because the BJP high command is conscious that this fraternity of voters should be satisfied in the Lok Sabha elections to be held after two years. Failure to do so may spoil the game made by him.
