Orange alert has been issued in many areas for the coming days
For the last several days, the situation in Maharashtra is bad due to heavy rains. Due to which many villages of the state were inundated with water. Due to which many areas were flooded with water. Due to heavy rains, landslides have also occurred in many areas, due to which 136 people have also died so far. However, the worst and worst effect of rain has been seen in Tali village of Mahad in Raigad district. In this village with a population of 120 people, 49 people have died due to rain, while 47 people have been injured. Apart from this, 12 people are still injured.
This incident of landslide took place at Talia in Raigad on Thursday. The villagers say that they were not given any kind of alert by the government and the local machinery. Due to the landslide, the stones fell directly into the village from a height of 100 feet. According to villagers, around 120 people were present in the village when the incident took place. However, they were taken to a safe place by the local administration during the rain. After the rain they all returned to their village. Many people died in Satara, Ratnagiri due to floods.
In view of the rain and flood situation, a heavy alert has been issued in Raigad, Konkan and Satara for the coming few days. It has been informed by the Meteorological Department that there will be heavy rain in all these areas for the coming two days. Orange alert has been sounded in Kolhapur, Ratnagiri and Sindhudurg.
