Raj Thackeray’s party Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) on Sunday announced to play Hanuman Chalisa on the occasion of Ram Navami by installing loudspeakers outside Shiv Sena’s party headquarters ‘Shiv Sena Bhawan’ in Mumbai. After this announcement by MNS, security has been beefed up outside the party headquarters.
Recently, MNS chief Raj Thackeray had demanded removal of loudspeakers from mosques in Maharashtra. Raj Thackeray had said that if the loudspeakers are not removed from the mosques, he will play Hanuman Chalisa loudly in front of the mosques. After this statement of Thackeray, MNS workers have started playing Hanuman Chalisa recitation on loudspeakers at various places. In Kurla, MNS workers tried to play Hanuman Chalisa on loudspeaker, which was given to the workers by the police.
Meanwhile, MNS workers installed loudspeakers outside the party headquarters of Shiv Sena in Mumbai on Sunday. Along with this, posters of Ram Navami have also been put up there. After this announcement of MNS, a large number of policemen have been deployed outside the party headquarters. Amid the demand for removal of loudspeakers from mosques, Shiv Sena MP Sanjay Raut had said that the Maharashtra Home Minister has issued a notice, stating that the decibel level of loudspeakers during Azan should be fixed. .
