Home Minister Amit Shah, who is on a three-day visit to Jammu and Kashmir on Monday, addressed a public meeting in Srinagar. The bullet proof glass normally used for security was missing when he was on stage during his speech. Actually Amit Shah removed the bullet proof glass shield from the stage to show trust to the people of Kashmir. During his speech, he said that all of you should remove fear and fear from your mind. Kashmir’s journey of peace and development cannot be interrupted now. Taking a jibe at the opposition during his speech, he said, “I was taunted, I was defamed. I want to talk to you openly today, so there is no bullet proof or security here.
Let us tell you that Amit Shah inaugurated and laid the foundation stone of various development projects in Srinagar on the last day of his three-day visit to Jammu and Kashmir. He also addressed a public meeting here. He said that the youth of the valley are being misled. They have weapons and stones in their hands. He gave a message to the youth that they need to follow the right path, this will lead to a wave of development in Jammu and Kashmir.

Amit Shah said, ‘Today I have come to appeal to the youth of Kashmir to do good to those who are holding stones in your hands. What good did those with arms do to you? PoK is there, ask whether there is electricity in the village, is there a hospital, is a medical college being built? Is there drinking water in the village? Are there toilets for women? Nothing happened there and these people are talking about Pakistan.
While addressing the public rally on August 5, Amit Shah said that if the internet was not stopped then some people would have instigated the youth and many people would have lost their lives. In this regard, Amit Shah said, after Article 370, we had shut down the internet. Curfew was imposed in the Valley. The opposition alleged that why did we do this? Shah said that if we had not shut down the internet in the valley, did not impose curfew, then who would have died in the situation created by instigating the youth, the youth would have died. We did not want any youth to be shot. He said that the people of Kashmir need not fear anymore. Kashmir resides in PM Modi’s heart, so those who obstruct development here will not get success.
