The Yogi government’s bulldozer started running at a faster pace against the domineering people who were carrying out criminal activities by making big buildings, markets and religious places and settling relatives on illegally occupied land. On Thursday, the administration destroyed the houses built by illegally occupying the pond land in Usman Garhi of Ghaziabad by running a bulldozer. These houses were built by Samajwadi Party leader Usman Chaudhary.
The SP leader is accused of having captured 60 bighas of ponds three decades ago in 1990 and established Osman Garhi Colony in his own name. And settled his relatives on it and sold it to other people also. So far about 400 houses have been built. And two and a half thousand people are living there. While giving the house, he had taken money in installments from many people.
Usman is also facing cases of land grabbing, house breaking and dacoity at the Mussoorie police station. It has been recommended to declare the accused as a land mafia. He has also gone to jail. During the action, SDM Vinay Kumar Singh, Tehsildar Vijay Kumar Mishra were present along with the police force.
Apart from this, the Yogi Sarkar’s bulldozer also went on Thursday on the illegal property of Ajay Sehgal, who is said to be close to Meerut’s prize crook gangster Badan Singh Baddo and his right hand. During this seven of his illegal shops were demolished. The administration says that these shops were built on the behest of Baddo by illegally occupying the park of Meerut Development Authority.
Earlier on March 15 last month, gangster Badan Singh’s market and factory were also vandalized by bulldozers. A reward of 2.5 lakh has been announced on gangster Badan Singh Baddo. He had murdered Meerut lawyer Ravindra Gurjar in 1996. After that he was also involved in many other crimes. Even after coming out of jail, he continued to carry out several crimes one after the other. Once he even managed to escape from the custody of the police.
On the other hand, the effect of Yogi’s bulldozer is also visible in Delhi. Recently, after the action of the Municipal Corporation in Jahangirpuri, in view of the possibility of bulldozers being run in Shaheen Bagh, the local people themselves have started trying to remove their occupation. Since Thursday morning, many people have been vacating illegal parts of their shops and houses and are engaged in shifting goods.
