Sometimes such situations happen in front of man that he can remember only God. Then someone or the other comes to him for help. Two girls from Agra, UP, want to study, but there is neither father nor any other earning person left in their house. The helpless girls are forced to live with their mother in a state of poverty. Due to non-payment of fees, the school authorities stopped the girls from appearing in the examination.
Last year was very sad for Kritika and Ananya Sharma, both the girls of Vikas Nagar area of Agra. Father, Baba and Tau died of corona disease. Only mother was left in the house. This also made it difficult for the children to lead a normal life. She wanted to study, but due to lack of money, she could not pay the school fees. Due to this he was not allowed to sit in the examination.
Among the two girls, Kritika studies in six and Ananya in three. Upset, the girls took to social media and made a video and uploaded it on social media. In this video, both the girls appealed to Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath for help. Agra ADG Rajiv Krishna got information about this, then he immediately talked to the school administration and deposited 25 thousand rupees due to the children. After this the further studies of those children could start.
Earlier, Sarita, the mother of both the girls, had submitted an application in the BSA office in August 2021, requesting to get the fees waived. The then BSA had also written a letter to the school to waive the fees under RTE (Right to Free Education), despite this the school management refused to allow them to appear in the examination.
Victim Sarita has sought help from child rights activist Naresh Paras, the coordinator of Mahfooz Sanstha. In the matter, ADM City Anjani Kumar has asked the BSA to talk to the school management and give instructions to help the girls. After the efforts of the police and administrative officers, many other organizations also came forward to help.
