Bulldozer action has intensified in Uttar Pradesh with Yogi Adityanath taking oath as the Chief Minister for the second time. On Thursday, the police had reached Saharanpur to nab two accused in the gang rape case. The special thing was that the police had brought a bulldozer with them. After reaching the spot, the stairs outside the house were demolished by a bulldozer. Along with this, the policemen also warned the relatives of the accused. A video of this is becoming increasingly viral.
In the video that surfaced, a policeman can be seen talking on the phone. The policeman told the relatives of the accused to tell the criminals to surrender in the police station or else they would destroy the whole house. In his second term, CM Yogi Adityanath has expressed his intentions by initiating bulldozer action against mafia, criminals and illegal buildings.
Two days ago, the bulldozer of the LDA ran on the illegal construction of the Yazdan builder located at the sand base of the capital Lucknow. According to the information, Yazdan builder had erected the apartment on Nazul’s land without permission. In this case, the LDA had ordered demolition in the year 2016 as well. However, this action could not be taken as the matter went to the Divisional Commissioner’s court.
Meanwhile, the hearing of the matter continued, while on the other hand, the builder also continued the construction of the apartments. At the same time, on 25 February 2022, the Divisional Commissioner’s court also ordered the demolition of the apartment, after which the LDA team started the process of demolishing the illegal apartment in the presence of police forces.
Gyanendra Verma, Additional Secretary, Lucknow Development Authority, while telling about the action taken by the department said that this building was illegal, no map of it was passed from the authority. Demolition action was taken today. The construction of the building started in 2016, after which the authority had sealed the building twice, yet the construction work continued.
