On a question asked about his desire to go to the Rajya Sabha, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar said that I do not have any personal desire. In an informal conversation with a news channel on Wednesday, the Chief Minister had said that he had been a member of three houses. Only Rajya Sabha is left. In this context, on Thursday, journalists in the Chief Minister’s room of the Assembly wanted to know from him about his wish.
The Chief Minister further said that in the beginning of politics, I used to travel a lot in the areas. Used to meet people. During this time my only wish was to become an MP. That became me. Before that I had also become an MLA. On the question of meeting his old colleagues in Purana Barh Lok Sabha constituency, he said that he was making a program for this for a long time. Wanted to meet his old friends and colleagues, but could not get time. In the meantime, the era of Corona came. Now I am going and meeting old friends and people there. There are some other areas which I will go ahead with.
Serving people for 16 years
The Chief Minister said that I have been serving the people of Bihar for the last 16 years. In these 16 years, I worked for the development of every section and all areas of the state. I have not left any area. Whether construction of road, bridge-culvert or building school-hospital. Large scale work has been done in all areas. There has been a lot of change in the state before and after the year 2006. It looks clear. There has been a lot of difference between earlier and today’s Patna.
