UP Uttarakhand Election Results 2022: The Muslim Rashtriya Manch, an affiliate of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), has lauded the victory of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in the Uttar Pradesh assembly elections, saying the people of the state rejected the “negative politics” of the opposition parties. He has again expressed his faith in “Modi-Yogi’s style of governance”. It also claimed that more than eight per cent of the Muslim vote has gone to the BJP.
Muslim Rashtriya Manch spokesperson Sahid Saeed said in a statement, “The impact of the implementation of the schemes and works of the BJP government on the MY (Muslim and Yadav) equation of the Samajwadi Party was absolutely overwhelming. “Muslim women and men also voted for the BJP in large numbers,” he claimed. More than eight percent Muslim voters voted in favor of the BJP.

Let us inform that in the UP assembly elections, the Election Commission had declared the election results for 391 seats out of 403 seats in the state till around 11.30 pm. In this, the Bharatiya Janata Party won a majority by securing 268 seats, including allies, to form the government. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath won the Gorakhpur city assembly seat by more than one lakh votes. However, Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya lost the Sirathu seat in Kaushambi district by a margin of over 7,000 votes.

At the same time, the main opposition Samajwadi Party of the state won 105 seats and was leading in seven seats. SP’s ally Rashtriya Lok Dal won eight seats and Suheldev Bharatiya Samaj Party won six seats. SP chief Akhilesh Yadav defeated Union Minister and BJP candidate Professor SP Singh Baghel by more than 67 thousand votes in Karhal seat of Mainpuri district.
