The UP government has decided that if any person is found copying a student during the board examination, then action will be taken against him under the National Security Act. The government has taken this decision to get the board’s 10th and 12th board examinations done in a clean manner.
Yogi Sarkar Chief Secretary Durga Shankar Mishra issued this order. During the discussion on the security arrangements, he said that a strict vigil should be kept on those spreading rumors during the examination. It is very important to have proper security arrangements at the centres. The District Magistrate should ensure that the students do not face any kind of problem at the centres. For this, he should sit and discuss with his subordinate officers continuously.
He said that the government is ensuring that the students do not face any problem during the examination. Along with health, urban development, Panchayati Raj departments have been instructed to expeditiously restore facilities in the centres. The examinations are to start from March 24. For this a control room is also being built in Lucknow. From here, the examinations to be held in all 75 districts will be monitored. It is the endeavor of the government that there should be no fraud in the examination centers.
UP’s Additional Chief Secretary Aradhana Shukla said that this time 51.92 lakh students are going to appear in the board exam. 8 thousand 373 centers have been set up to conduct the examination. CCTVs have been installed in all the centres. He says that as a precaution, question papers will be kept in double-locked shelves so that no one can tamper with them.
