BJP is churning in Delhi to find the CM face of Uttarakhand. Caretaker Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami is also in Delhi for the last 5 days. On Tuesday too, the party leadership brainstormed for a long time. Meanwhile, the BJP MLA from Uttarakhand has surprised everyone by calling himself the CM candidate. Premchand Agrawal, who was elected MLA for the fourth consecutive time from Rishikesh, has given a statement that I have been elected MLA for the fourth time in a row and I am also in the race for the post of CM.
BJP MLA Premchand Agarwal while talking to ABP News said, “For the first time in Uttarakhand the myth has been broken and the BJP government has been formed again. Therefore, we should get a good leadership to express our gratitude to the public. Naturally, we want to repeat the good work we have done in the last 5 years. This is everyone’s wish and ours too.”
On the question of CM’s claim, Premchand Aggarwal said, “Every worker of ours is eligible for the post of CM and if I also become MLA for the fourth time, then the desire will be natural. But the final decision rests with the high command and the decision of my high command will be accepted by all, as it considers all aspects.”
Regarding the claim of Pushkar Singh Dhami as CM, Premchand Aggarwal said, “We have fought the elections under the leadership of Dhami ji and we have come out winning. Our sympathy is with them. We have already said that myth has been broken in Uttarakhand and we have been saying from the beginning that BJP government will be formed.
At the same time, regarding the post of CM, former minister and newly elected MLA Rekha Arya said during a conversation with a news channel that, “For the last 5 days, meetings have been held in Delhi regarding the leadership of Uttarakhand and soon we will draw conclusions. A meeting of the legislature party will be called soon by the observer and the leader of the house will be elected. Whatever will be the decision of the top leadership, it will be accepted by all.
