At the same time, even today IMD has expressed apprehension about heavy rains in many parts of the country. According to the Meteorological Department, the ongoing rain attack in North-West India will continue during the next 24 to 48 hours. Relief from this may be available tomorrow i.e. on 16th April. Please note that incidents of hailstorm have also occurred in many states.
48 hours of rain
According to the Meteorological Department, rains will continue in northwest India for the next 48 hours. The Meteorological Department said that hailstorm may occur in western Uttar Pradesh. The Meteorological Department said that hailstorm may occur in Lalitpur and Jhansi districts. At the same time, there is a possibility of hailstorm in some parts of Madhya Pradesh.
Also, moderate to severe storms can be seen in Rajasthan, Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, Delhi, Jammu, Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand. The Meteorological Department said that lightning struck Rajasthan yesterday, due to which a tree in Ganga Nagar was uprooted.
Possibility of heavy rain and snowfall here
Apart from this, the Meteorological Department said that there is a possibility of heavy rain and snowfall in Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir for the next 2 to 3 days. There may also be chances of light rain in Punjab, Haryana, Rajasthan, Delhi, Chandigarh. Also, there is a possibility of hailstorm in some parts of Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Uttarakhand in the next 24 hours.
