A shocking case has come to light from Roorkee, Uttarakhand. A 23-year-old youth had earlier allegedly killed his 22-year-old girlfriend in a hotel room here. Then he was trying to take the girl’s body in a suitcase. When the manager of the hotel asked him to open the suitcase due to doubts, he refused. After much debate, when the suitcase was opened, there was a stir when the girl’s body was found. However, now the youth has been arrested by the police.
According to the police, the matter was of a love affair between the young man and the girl. The accused youth has been identified as Guljeb Hussain Ansari, a resident of Jwalapur, Haridwar. Guljeb runs a cosmetic shop near his house. At the same time, Guljeb’s girlfriend has been identified as Ramsa Ansari. Ramsa Ansari was a resident of Mangalore village located near Roorkee.
Hotel staff based in Roorkee said that the young man had gone into the room with the suitcase he had brought with him quite easily while checking-in at the hotel. After a few hours, when he started coming out of the room, he was found very upset by the hotel staff. In such a situation, when he offered to help, the young man refused. Due to suspicion, when the hotel staff searched, the girl’s body was found locked in a suitcase.
The hotel staff told that the body locked in the suitcase belonged to the same girl who had gone to the room with the young man a few hours ago. The deceased’s uncle Mohammad Yunus Ansari said that the girl’s father is a laborer and she was the first girl in the family to complete her graduation. The whole family had hope from her and she was looking for a job for the past few days.
According to the girl’s family, the accused youth comes to their relatives and the family is deeply shocked by the girl’s death. The girl’s family never thought that the accused youth would ever commit such a crime. In this case, on the complaint of the girl’s father Mohammad Rashid Ansari, an FIR has been registered against the accused youth under section 302 (murder) of IPC.
Giving information in the matter, SP (Rural) Pramendra Singh Dobal said, ‘After getting a call from the hotel, our team reached the spot and questioned the accused for a long time. The accused youth has confessed to the crime and told that he was in a relationship with the girl for some time, but his family had refused to marry him. So he wanted to ‘teach her a lesson’.
