new Delhi . Sharad Yadav will formally merge his party Loktantrik Janata Dal with Rashtriya Janata Dal on March 20. He formed his own party in 2018 after separating from JDU. In fact, it is being speculated right now that, after the merger, the RJD may send him to the Rajya Sabha. The High Court has ordered Sharad Yadav to vacate the government bungalow allotted to him.
In Bihar, five Rajya Sabha seats will be vacant in the month of July, two seats will go to BJP, one seat will go to JDU. Two seats will go to RJD and the term of Sharad Yadav’s Rajya Sabha is ending in July 2022.
