Lucknow. Abbas Ansari, MLA son of Don Mukhtar Ansari imprisoned in Banda Jail, has been implicated in forgery in arms license. Abbas was accused by the police of buying multiple arms on one licence. In this case, the police has failed to trace Abbas. As a result, the MP-MLA Special Court has issued an arrest warrant against Abbas. Special Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate Ambrish Srivastava has ordered the police of Mahanagar Police Station, Lucknow to arrest the accused Abbas Ansari and present him in the court on July 27. If the police is not able to arrest Abbas, then the house can also be attached by calling him a fugitive.
Inspector of Mahanagar police station told in the court that to get the bailable warrant issued against Abbas, he was searched at all possible places. Neither Abbas nor any member of his family was found at these places. Because of this notice has been pasted at home. The inspector requested the court to issue an arrest warrant against Abbas. This was accepted by the court. The police had registered a case against Abbas on October 12, 2019, that he obtained a license for a double barrel gun in 2012 while living in the metro city. Then got this license transferred to the Delhi address and bought many weapons on the same license.
Police say that Abbas did all this fraud by pretending to be a famous shooter. He also did not take information or approval from Lucknow Police to transfer the arms license to the Delhi address. Let us inform that the UP Police has also put all the cases against Abbas’s don father Mukhtar Ansari. After a lot of effort in connection with these cases, the Yogi government was successful in bringing him from the jail of Punjab to the jail of UP. For this, there was also a lawsuit between the UP and Punjab government in the Supreme Court. Now if Abbas also goes to jail, then the problems for the Ansari family will increase further.
