Congress leader K Rahman Khan on the inclusion of Bhagvad Gita in Karnataka schools on the lines of Gujarat: BJP’s selfishness lies in this. Every religious book teaches religion, you cannot say that it is only Gita which teaches religion or Indian culture. If so, then all religious books should be included in the curriculum.
In fact, the Bhupendrabhai Patel-led Gujarat government has approved the inclusion of Bhagavad Gita in the school curriculum for classes 6 to 12 from the academic year 2022. On which Karnataka Education Minister BC Nagesh supported this step and said that this step will be taken in our state also, if experts approve it then it will be included in the next academic session.
Now in this matter, Congress leader Rehman Khan while talking to news agency ANI said that BJP’s selfishness is behind doing this. Khan said, “Every religious book teaches religion, you cannot say that it is only Gita which teaches religion and Indian culture. All religious books should be taught to students. BJP has vested interest in this because of the new education policy.” The purpose is to cover the Hindutva policy, nothing else.”
Karma like Ravana and talk about Geeta: Sisodia
Delhi Deputy Manish Sisodia criticized the Gujarat government’s decision to include the Bhagavad Gita in the school curriculum. He said that certainly it is a great step but those who are presenting it need to practice the values of Gita first. His deeds are like that of Ravana and he talks about Geeta.
