New Delhi: The bugle of Lok Sabha elections has been sounded. Lok Sabha elections are to be held in seven phases from April 19, which will continue till June 1. The results of the elections will be declared on June 4. On one hand, BJP is trying to win the elections for the third time, while on the other hand, Indi alliance is also trying hard to defeat BJP.
If BJP wins the Lok Sabha elections for the third time, then PM Modi will equal the record of the country’s first PM Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, in which he had won three consecutive Lok Sabha elections. Nehru won three consecutive Lok Sabha elections in 1951–52, 1957 and 1962.
PM Modi has already expressed confidence that this time NDA will get more than 400 seats and BJP will get at least 370 seats. However, to achieve this goal, it is important that the saffron party wins those 32 Lok Sabha seats which it won for the first time in 2019.

Of these, 16 seats are from West Bengal, 3 seats are from Haryana, 3 seats are from Karnataka, 3 seats are from Odisha, 2 from Telangana and 2 from Tripura. One seat is from Assam, one seat is from Maharashtra and one seat is from Manipur.

In the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, BJP won 16 seats for the first time in West Bengal. These seats include Cooch Behar, Alipurduar, Jalpaiguri, Raiganj, Balurghat, Maldaha North, Ranaghat, Bongaon, Barrackpur, Hooghly, Jhargram, Medinipur, Purulia, Bankura, Bishnupur and Bardhaman-Durgapur. The party had won 18 seats in the 2019 elections, including Darjeeling and Asansol.
