After the arrival of these videos, Russia’s Federal Security Service (FSB) said that two Ukrainian armored vehicles were seen violating the Russian border in the Rostov region. After that, Russia’s Southern Military District Command issued a statement, which said that five people trying to infiltrate along the border had been killed.
The decision was taken in the meeting of the National Security Council
It is said that only after these reports, the President of Russia called a meeting of his National Security Council. Experts present in the meeting sought advice on possible steps. At the meeting FSB director Alexander Bortikov reported the fall of shells coming from the other side inside the Russian border. He said two Ukrainian military groups had reached near the Russian border in the Luhansk and Donetsk regions. The situation in that area is deteriorating due to these incidents, he said. It is said that on the basis of this assessment, Russian President Vladimir Putin decided to recognize Luhansk and Donetsk.
