Varanasi. A new application filed on Gyanvapi Masjid will be heard today in the court of Civil Judge Senior Division Ravi Kumar Diwakar of the local court located in Varanasi, UP. Judge Diwakar, while hearing the application filed earlier, conducted the survey in Gyanvapi. Now that case is being heard by the District Judge on the directions of the Supreme Court. In the application on which Judge Ravi Kumar Diwakar will hear, there has been a demand to hand over the entire Gyanvapi complex to the Hindus. This application has been filed by Kiran Singh Bisen, General Secretary of Vishwa Vedic Sanatan Sansthan. Now everyone’s eyes are on what judge Ravi Kumar Diwakar orders on this application.
It has been said in the application of Kiran Singh Bisen that this is the entire knowledge-filled complex of Lord Vishweshwar. It has also been said in the government documents that the entire land is recorded in the name of Lord Vishweshwar. In such a situation, this place should be handed over to the Hindus and permission should be given to worship here. Along with this, orders have also been sought in the application to completely stop the entry of Muslims, regularly worship Lord Vishweshwar and demolish the domes of the mosque. Hearing on this application will take place at 2 pm.
About 10 applications have already been filed in the court on the issue of Gyanvapi Masjid. District Judge Ajay Kumar Vishvesh is hearing most of the applications. After the last hearing, he has fixed the date of next hearing for tomorrow i.e. 26 May. In this hearing, the District Judge will hear the application of Rule 11 of Order 7 filed by the Muslim side. The Muslim side has said in its application that the application of the Hindu side is not maintainable under the 1991 Place of Worship Act. Whereas, the Hindu side has requested to hear the application of the Muslim side after seeing the report of the survey of Gyanvapi under Rule 10 of Order 26. The District Judge has ordered both the parties to give copy of the survey report, photo and video. An objection has also been sought on this in a week.
