Rising losses and no fresh investments have added to the company’s troubles. Even the company’s chairman Kumar Mangalam Birla has resigned from his post. In such a situation, if the company is closed, then it will affect 28 crore customers of the country as well as the eight largest banks of the country.
Let us tell you that Vodafone-Idea currently has a debt of Rs 1.80 lakh crore. Which is the amount taken by the company in the form of loan in various forms. Including banks. Now if the company shuts down, the banks will lose thousands of crores of rupees.

However, it is clear that this will benefit companies like Jio and Airtel. Vodafone Idea chairman Kumar Mangalam Birla had offered to sell his stake in the company to the government. The government did not respond and he resigned, leading to speculation that the company would be shut down. However, the company’s CEO has assured his employees that there is no need to panic and the situation is under control.
