Bhopal. Once again the genie of Vyapam has come out of the bottle after the disturbances in the recruitment examination in Madhya Pradesh, that is why there has been a stir in the politics too. If the Congress has started besieging the government, then the government has to take a defensive stand.
The Board of Professional Examinations (Vyapam) in the state has been in the news due to the discrepancies encountered in the examinations and it was first known as the Professional Examination Board and then the Staff Selection Board. The names have changed but the mistakes are not leaving it behind.
The latest case is related to the eligibility test of primary teachers, the question paper and answer sheet of this eligibility test went viral on mobile, its screenshots also reached the people. The matter caught fire and the Congress openly accused the Deputy Secretary of the Chief Minister’s Secretariat Laxman Singh Markam and even said that the mobile whose screen shot is going viral on social media is of Markam. When the matter caught fire, a case was registered on behalf of Markam against senior Congress leaders KK Mishra and Dr. Anand Rai, both of whom were also booked under the Atrocity Act.
The matter of primary teacher eligibility test and answer sheet going viral on mobile was in full swing, during this time the discussions of removing the answer sheet from the website of the board gained momentum and on one former Congress state president and former union minister Arun Yadav tweeted. did too. He has written, fear is good, Vyapam has removed the answer sheet of class 3 from the website within four hours, the government should now cancel the entire exam and hand over its investigation to the CBI.
On one hand, where the matter of eligibility test was gaining momentum, on the other hand, the matter of police constable recruitment examination caught fire. In this examination, the list of eligible and ineligible candidates was released, in which it was said that there were many discrepancies. On taking political color in this matter, State Home Minister Dr. Narottam Mishra announced to conduct the investigation with the help of Map IT. The allegation is that those with lesser marks have been declared eligible while those with higher marks have been made ineligible.
Both these cases have once again brought Vyapam in the limelight. Vyapam conducts entrance examinations in various educational institutions along with the recruitment of class IV and III staff. Vyapam came into the limelight in the year 2013 when a large-scale malpractice in the PMT examination was exposed. The case made headlines nationwide and the matter reached the CBI after the SIT. In this case many administrative officials and politicians came under the siege, many even had to go to jail. Not only this, the death of about 100 people related to this matter also made a lot of headlines. Now once again this matter is in the headlines and the political force is also gaining momentum.
