There have been many serial killers in the world but probably none like Charles Manson of America. This was such a killer who killed many celebrities apart from common people or got them killed by their comrades. Not only this, it was also his pastime to leave messages written in blood on the walls after the murder. This serial killer was not only notorious in the world of crime but also ran a religious sect.
Born on November 12, 1934, in Cincinnati, Ohio, Charles Manson’s early life was full of ups and downs. Therefore, at a young age, he got addicted to theft and other crimes. In the year 1947, at the age of 12, he was sent to the Children’s Correctional Home. When Charles came out a few days later, he became violent and mentally weak. After this, he committed many serious crimes for 20 consecutive years.
During these 20 years, Charles was jailed several times, but when Charles was released from prison in 1967, he moved to San Francisco. Then Charles met Gary Hinman, a music teacher. Charles Manson formed a group called the Manson Family. To this group he added many people who were in a way his followers. In fact, Charles was running a cult under which he considered himself a god.
During this time, Gary Hinman made Charles meet Roman Polanski, a famous film director, and asked Charles to work as an actor. Gary Hinman was put to death by Just One Na and Charles’ followers. Then a few days later, Charles’ followers brutally murdered actress Sharon Tate, hairstylist Jay Sebring and Abigail Folger, and writer Wojcick Frykowski, wife of famous film director Roman Polanski.
These five deaths shocked the whole of America. After killing everyone, these killers wrote the death of pigs on the wall. Then people associated with the Inn Manson Group killed a supermarket executive and his wife. Four of Charles’ followers were captured in 1969. All this told in the interrogation of the police that he had killed all the people at the behest of Charles Manson. The intention behind these killings was to surprise everyone.
Police investigation revealed that Charles himself had killed many people. But he was found guilty in the murder of Gary Hinman and sentenced to life imprisonment. Then four of his followers were also sentenced to life imprisonment for murder. In 2017, Mansion died of natural causes at the age of 83 in a prison in Southern California.
