The construction work of the world’s tallest (270 ft) Virat Ramayana temple at Kaithwalia in East Champaran district of Bihar will start in April 2022. Necessary land has been arranged for the construction work. 125 acres of land is required for the proposed temple, out of which the temple has got 100 acres so far.
There is also a glimpse of Ganga-Jamuni cooperation culture in the construction of the temple. In this episode, Ishtayaq Mohammad Khan, the landlord of Kaithwalia on Wednesday, donated a plot of 23 kattha (71 decimal) for the construction of the temple. Even before this, cooperation has been given by his family in arranging the land required for the temple. Acharya Kishore Kunal, secretary of Mahavir Mandir Trust, told reporters that the remaining land would also be arranged soon.
The construction work of the temple at the proposed site will be under the supervision of experts working in the construction of Parliament building. The help of Ahmedabad-based architect Piyush Sompura and interior designer Navratna Raghuvanshi have been taken to prepare the design of the temple construction. The construction of the temple is planned by 2027.
Kishore Kunal, secretary of the Mahavir Mandir Trust, said that the world’s tallest Shivling will first be installed in the Virat Ramayana temple. This Shivling will be 33 feet high and 33 feet in roundness. For the construction of Shivling, 250 metric tonnes of granite stone has been purchased near Kanyakumari. It has been sent from Kanyakumari to Mahabalipuram with great difficulty to give it the shape of Shivling. The construction of Shivling will be like Sahastralingam. Means one thousand eight Shivling would have been placed in one Shivling. This type of Shivling was made in the eighth century. This type of Shivling is being constructed after about 1300 years. This Shivling will be installed in the Virat Ramayana temple by 2023. The first roof of the temple will be molded at a height of thirty feet. Shivling will be at a height of three feet from the ceiling. On which devotees can perform Jalabhishek. There will be a ladder, escalator and lift on three sides to reach the terrace. So that elders can also perform Jalabhishek on Shivling. Let us tell you that the tallest (27 feet) Shivalinga so far is located in the Thanjavur temple in Tamil Nadu, built by the Chola kings.
There will be 12 shikharas in the temple. Apart from this, four ashrams will also be built here in the name of four sages. Experts will be called from South India for the construction of the summit. The secretary of the Mahavir Mandir Trust says that this temple will become an example of the most beautiful architecture in North India. Necessary funds have been arranged to prepare the structure from the foundation of the temple to the summit. Devotees will find a variety of themes in the temple. This will include worship of Lord Rama on the lines of Rameshwaram in front of Shiva.
Virat Ramayana Temple will be the tallest temple in the world. The height of the temple will be 270 feet, while the height of the Angkor Wat temple is 220 feet and the height of the Kashi Vishwanath temple is 251 feet. Due to falling in seismic zone five, the height of the temple has been reduced somewhat. While the length of the temple will be 1080 feet and the width will be 540 feet. There is a road from three sides of the Ramayana temple complex. The Ram-Janaki road being built from Ayodhya to Janakpur will pass through the temple. The place where the temple is being built in East Champaran. It is believed that in order to return to Ayodhya from Janakpur, the procession of Lord Rama stayed there for one night on the banks of river Devaki. This river flows in the west direction from the proposed temple site.
