So, is hot water a better option? According to Ayurvedic physician Dr Dixha Bhavsar, drinking cold water like ice should be avoided. Instead of drinking cold water, you should drink lukewarm water according to room temperature. There are many benefits of consuming hot water, but it does not mean that cold water is harming health.
