You must have eaten kadhi many times but by following some tips, you can make kadhi with new flavor. This recipe will help you to make your Kadhi in perfect restaurant style.
Material-
1/2 cup gram flour for pakodas, 1 pinch baking soda, 1 pinch turmeric powder, 1 pinch red chili powder, 1/2 tsp garam masala for making curry, 500 grams sour curd, 1/2 cup gram flour, 2 tsp fenugreek seeds, a pinch of asafoetida, 1/4 tsp red chilli powder, 1/4 tsp turmeric powder, 2 dry red chillies, salt to taste, oil as per need 2 tsp oil for tempering, 1 tsp mustard, a pinch asafoetida, 1/4 tsp Garam Masala
Method-
First of all, put the ingredients of the dumplings in a vessel. Make a thick batter by adding water to it. Now put curd and 2 cups of water in a vessel and beat it well. Add turmeric powder, red chili powder and mix it. Put oil in a pan on medium heat and keep it for heating. Put small pakoras in it and fry them. Take out the fried pakoras on a plate and keep them aside. Now halve the same oil and add asafoetida, fenugreek and dry red chillies and temper it. Add curd-gram flour batter and cook it while stirring continuously till it comes to a boil. When the gram flour comes to a boil, cook it for 10-15 minutes. After the stipulated time, put the pakoras in it and cook covered for 2 minutes and turn off the gas. Heat oil in a pan on medium heat. Add asafoetida, mustard seeds and garam masala to it and temper it. Immediately pour the tempering over the curry. Delicious Kadhi is ready. Serve hot with rice or roti.
