Karva Chauth 2025 worship method
Firstly, there is a tradition of eating sargi (a sacred food) offered by the mother-in-law to her daughter-in-law before sunrise. After fasting for the whole day, Karva Chauth puja is performed in the evening. For this, a thali is decorated which contains a karwa (earthen pot), a lamp, rice, sweets, water and roli. Women wear sixteen adornments and sit together to listen to the story. After listening to the katha, the women worship the karwa and earthen lamp. Water, sweets and Dakshina are offered on Karwa. After this, the moon is awaited. After looking at the moon through a sieve, Arghya is offered and then the fast is broken by drinking water from the husband’s hand.
