What is Dandruff?
Dandruff is a scalp condition that causes a scaly layer to form on your skin. It is caused by a fungus called Malassezia. Many people start seeing this problem on the eyebrows or any part of the body other than the scalp, then it is called seborrheic dermatitis.
Why does dandruff happen?
There is often discussion about this, you must have heard grandmothers and grandmothers say that dandruff is caused by poor health. It is said that this problem occurs due to many factors like lifestyle, diet, products and health. However, these occur due to imbalance in the level of the body. Apart from this, there is a problem of dandruff due to not washing the head daily, tension, excessive oily or dry scalp.

There are two types of dandruff. One dry and the other oily. Dry dandruff is caused due to the lack of moisture level, due to which white spots appear on the scalp. In such a situation, it comes out of the hair by scratching and combing. On the other hand, oily dandruff occurs when the scalp produces excess sebum, which reacts with the yeast that lives on the skin of the scalp. This results in sticky and pale yellow patches that form a layer on the scalp.

1) Yogurt is beneficial
You can use curd to get rid of dandruff, for this add lemon juice to curd and then mix it well. Apply this paste on your scalp for at least 20 to 25 minutes and then wash it off with a mild cleanser. Keep in mind that if you have dry scalp then only apply curd. It can be used once a week.
2) Multani Mitti
Along with the skin, multani mitti is very beneficial for the hair. For this, soak multani mitti in water for some time. Then add lemon juice to it. Make a paste of it and apply on the scalp for 30 minutes and then wash the hair with mild shampoo. Apply it once or twice in a week. If you have dry scalp, add aloe vera instead of lemon.
