In today’s fast-paced world, people are constantly under a lot of stress. Caught between family life and office responsibilities, most people always find themselves in a state of stress. Words like “stress” and “stress” have become so common that people often ignore them as trivial things. However, one rarely realizes when this increasing stress gradually pushes a person towards depression. With this in mind, let us share with you some great strategies to reduce stress.

Try these tips to reduce stress:
Get enough sleep: The workload has increased so much that people often work all night, and return to their work again in the morning. As a result, they do not get enough rest. It is very important to get enough sleep to keep stress away. Therefore, aim to get a full 7–8 hours of sleep every night.

Eat a healthy diet: Proper nutrition not only energizes the body, but also helps reduce stress by increasing levels of mood-improving chemicals—like serotonin—in the brain, as well as controlling stress hormones like cortisol. Therefore, give priority to a healthy diet.

Digital Detox: To free yourself from stress, it is important to take a break from social media and screens. Digital detox improves sleep quality and reduces anxiety. So, incorporate 4–5 hours of daily “screen-free” time into your lifestyle—or designate a designated “social media-free day.” **Expand your network:** Networking—or connecting with others—is an effective way to reduce stress. A strong social support network is beneficial not only for mental well-being, but also for physical health.

Exercise: 30 minutes of exercise or brisk walking every day is important to improve heart health and reduce stress. Also, whenever you feel stressed, angry or irritable, take a few deep breaths and go for a walk; Doing this will help you control your anger.

Taking breaks is important: Make changes in your lifestyle by taking a break from your daily routine. If your life starts feeling monotonous doing the same things every day, then plan a weekend trip with friends. Or, take a few days off and go on a trip or just relax at home. This will give you relief from your daily hustle and bustle and help in reducing your stress level.
