IRCTC, a subsidiary of Indian Railways, has launched a 6-day tour package for you. In this trip you will get a chance to see mountains, waterfalls, temples and royal palaces. The name of this package is “Coffee with Karnataka”. You can book this package for any upcoming Wednesday as per your convenience. Your journey will start next Wednesday – 15th July – at 7:05 pm from Kacheguda Railway Station by train number 12785 (Kacheguda-Mysore Express). You will travel at night by train.
Day 2 (Thursday)
You will reach Mysore at 9:30 am. From there, you will travel to the beautiful hill station Coorg, located about 115 kilometers away by road. You will reach the hotel by noon and check-in. After some rest, you will visit Abbey Falls and Omkareshwar Temple. You will spend the night in a hotel in Coorg.
Day 3 (Friday)
After breakfast at the hotel, you will proceed to Talakaveri, the source of the Kaveri River. After this, you will visit Bhagamandala Temple. In the afternoon, you will visit Raja’s Seat, which offers spectacular views of the valleys. You will spend the night in a hotel in Coorg.
Day 4 (Saturday)
After breakfast, you will check-out from the hotel and proceed to Mysore. On the way, you will visit Kaveri Nisargdham and Tibetan Monastery. On reaching Mysore, you will enjoy the famous Vrindavan Gardens. In the evening, you will check-in to your hotel and spend the night in Mysore.
Day 5 (Sunday)
After breakfast, you will check-out from the hotel. You will then visit Chamundi Hills and the magnificent Mysore Palace. In the afternoon, you will reach Mysore Railway Station and depart for Kacheguda by train number 12786 at 3:15 pm. You will travel at night by train. Day 6 (Monday) – Your memorable journey will end after reaching Kacheguda Railway Station at 5:40 am.
