Ingredients for making Lapsi
Oatmeal – 1 cup
Sugar – 3/4 cup
Cardamom – 5-6
Ghee – 1/2 cup
Raisins – 2 tsp
Cashew nuts – 2 tsp
Ingredients for making Lapsi
To make Lapsi, first of all, keep a pan or cooker for heating. Put two spoons of desi ghee in this cooker. Now put it on the porridge. You have to fry the porridge on medium flame, so that the porridge does not get burnt. After roasting the porridge, add 4 cups of water to the porridge and close it. After one whistle in the cooker, switch off the gas. Now after the porridge is cooked, you can add sweet tempering to it. Now put desi ghee in a pan. Now add cardamom, chopped cashews, raisins to it. Now take out the porridge and add sugar and mix it. Serve by adding cashew nuts, raisins, cardamom powder and a little ghee on top. Lapsi is ready. You can also add saffron to it.
