With the dwindling cases of COVID-19 after many states abolishing the mandatory wearing of masks, 90 percent of Indians believe that most people are either not wearing a mask or not wearing it properly. This information has come out in a survey.
This survey has been done by a social media platform ‘LocalCircles’. According to LocalCircles, more than 30,000 responses were received from people living in 349 districts of India during the survey.
The survey participants were asked questions to understand the current situation regarding wearing of masks as many states are removing the mandatory wearing of masks.
As per the survey, 57 per cent of the respondents said that most people in their areas are wearing masks, but they do not wear it properly. At the same time, 22 percent said that most people have masks but they do not wear them.
Only seven per cent of the respondents said that most have masks and wear them properly, while three per cent did not give any opinion. About 68 percent of those surveyed were men, while 32 percent were women.
