Raipur, September 11 (). Security forces have achieved great success against Naxalites in Chhattisgarh on Thursday. In the joint operation of Cobra Commando, Chhattisgarh Police and Distress Reserve Guard (DRG) of the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), 10 notorious Naxalites including CCM Modem Modem Balakrishna alias Manoj have been killed.
This operation was going on for the last few days in the Naxal -affected areas of the state and the security forces together achieved this success. Manoj, an important member of the Naxal organization, has been killed in this operation. He had been a major challenge for the security forces for the last few years, and a reward of Rs 1 crore was placed on him. Apart from this, many more notorious Naxalites were eliminated in this operation.
Reacting to this success, Home Minister Amit Shah posted on the social media platform ‘X’ and wrote, “Our security forces have achieved another major achievement today against Naxalites. CRPF Cobra Commando, Chhattisgarh Police and DRG in Chhattisgarh have killed 10 notorious Naxalites including CCM Modem Balakrishna alias Manoj, including CRPF Cobra Commando, Chhattisgarh Police and DRG. Surprise. The complete destruction of red terror is certain before 31 March. “
This joint operation reflects the deep commitment and solidarity of the security forces. CRPF’s Cobra Commando, Chhattisgarh Police and DRG team together carried out the campaign. In the last few years, strict action has been taken against Naxalites in Chhattisgarh and this operation was an important step.
The encounter between soldiers and Naxalites in Gariaband was confirmed by IG (Inspector General) of Raipur. Confirming the encounter, the IG had said that the operation is going on.
Significantly, in the last few months, many major operations have been conducted against Naxalites in Chhattisgarh, in which security forces have achieved significant success in weakening the Naxalite network.
