Mumbai, 15 September (). The Economic Intelligence Unit of the Economic Offenses Branch (EOW) has filed an FIR against illegal online trading platform closes Flose Friends Traders.
During the investigation of the case against this platform, it was discovered that it was operating without the permission of the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) and the National Stock Exchange (NSE) and was violating the regulatory criteria.
In this context, EOW clarified that this platform was not only illegal, but it was working to cheat investors by putting them in high profits.
EOW officials have appealed to the citizens not to invest in any illegal or irregular online trading platforms. Also, always confirm the validity of the platform from SEBI or NSE before investment. Officials also warned that the fraud should be cautious against the schemes, especially when these schemes promise unusual or unrealistic benefits.
The EOW official said that we request investors to always check its legitimacy before investing in any unauthorized or disgusting platforms.
The EOW has appealed to all the affected citizens to bring out their complaints and report to the Economic Offenses Branch. In any type of fraud cases, the victims can get assistance from EOW Mumbai. Officials assured that all complaints would be investigated thoroughly and strict action would be taken against the culprits.
Taking quick steps in the case, the Economic Offenses Branch has filed an FIR against the illegal platform and started a thorough investigation into its operational process. Further investigation against the platform will reveal fraud and financial irregularities.
