In fact, while returning from Kailash Mansarovar Yatra, MLA Dr. Ritu Banawat, her husband and former district president of BJP, Rishi Bansal, were trapped on the Nepal-China border. During the anti-corruption movement, there was blockade on the roads in Nepal. On this, the MLA talked to Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma, Assembly Speaker Vasudev Devnani and Union Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat on the phone and sought help.

The MLA said that on the instructions of the state government, the Nepal embassy showed seriousness to the team from Purong town of China border to Simikot in Nepal. The next day, when the situation became normal, he was sent to Lucknow via Nepalganj. From there, she returned to Bayana on Saturday by train.
