Chandigarh. Regarding the election results of five states of the country including West Bengal, Haryana Deputy Chief Minister Dushyant Chautala has said that government machinery has been misused in the West Bengal elections and this is dangerous for democracy. He said that more than one crore votes were deducted through Special Intensive Revision (SIR) in Bengal and the victory of BJP candidates in the seats where more votes were deducted shows that the elections should be won with equal measures. Dushyant said that the use of military and central employees in Bengal is a big warning for democracy and due to this the results of Bengal have been affected. Whereas in states like Tamil Nadu and Kerala, there was no tampering and even BJP’s account was not opened there. He said that the whole country is seeing and understanding this. On Tuesday, he met journalists during his visit to Jind, Kaithal district. Responding to the questions of journalists, Dushyant Chautala also said that Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini is busy touring Punjab instead of visiting the mandis of the state. He said that today 60 percent wheat is lying in the markets and the lifting work has come to a standstill. Even after a month, the farmers have not been paid, which earlier used to be done within two days only. Dushyant Chautala said that it seems that Naib Saini has left Haryana and due to this bank scams worth crores of rupees are taking place in the state. He said that pressure is being put on small employees and no action is being taken against the big crocodiles involved in the scam. Dushyant Chautala said that Naib Saini, who is looking after the responsibility of Finance Minister, should accept his failures as a matter of morality and should tell him why action is not being taken against those who looted government funds. Former Deputy Chief Minister Dushyant Chautala, while condemning a comment made by BJP’s Rajya Sabha MP Rekha Sharma on former Chief Minister Late Chaudhary Bhajan Lal, said that such terminology does not suit the leaders leading the state and there is anger among the public over her statement. He said that Rajya Sabha MP Rekha Sharma, who has been the chairperson of the Women’s Commission, should use terminology thoughtfully.
