Bidhan Nagar, April 5 (). The candidates have given their full strength for the West Bengal Assembly elections. In this series, BJP candidate from Bidhan Nagar (Salt Lake) seat Shardwat Mukherjee organized a rally in Karunamoyee as part of his election campaign. In which a large number of supporters participated.
Speaking to , Shardwat Mukherjee said, “The atmosphere here is very good. The common citizen of Bidhan Nagar is connected with us. The doctors and engineers here are also supporting us. This time there will be a change in West Bengal. BJP government will be formed and after many years there will be development in Bengal.”
Earlier, Shardwat Mukherjee had made headlines by campaigning with fish. After this Mukherjee had said, Bengalis start any auspicious work by buying fish. People in Bengal also eat fish during Navratri. All communities here are non-vegetarian. Eating habits depend on everyone’s own preferences. If we win, we will distribute Hilsa fish, prawns and other things in the assembly. We will cook the fish and feed it to Mamata Banerjee also.”
TMC candidate from Bidhan Nagar assembly constituency Sujit Bose also took out an election rally in Sukanta Nagar. During this, Sujit Bose said, “The opposition says many things against us, but we always ignore them.”
During the election campaign in his area on Sunday, BJP candidate from Bhagbanpur, Shantanu Pramanik said, “Today the voice has been raised across Bengal that change is necessary. We, the members of the BJP party, are contacting people everywhere.”
BJP candidate from Chinsurah assembly constituency Subir Nag said during the election campaign, “I have been coming to Chinsurah market for the last 40 years. I come here twice a week. This is my market. There is no need to go out today. The enthusiasm of all the workers and people has increased.”
