The high waves coming from the sea near the Gateway of India are making the weather department’s warning even more scary. IMD issued a high tide alert in Mumbai after continuous heavy rains. Mumbai suburbs (sub-cities) also received intermittent heavy rains. As a result, some areas of the metropolis were flooded.
