AAP declared candidate for Rajya Sabha election, seal on the name of industrialist Rajinder

The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has declared industrialist Rajinder Gupta as its candidate for the Punjab Rajya Sabha by -election. The party has officially announced his name. The by -election is to be held from Punjab on 24 October for a seat of Rajya Sabha. This seat was vacant with the resignation of AAP’s Sanjeev Arora.

Rajinder Gupta was still working as Vice Chairman, Punjab Economic Policy and Planning Board in the state government. He has resigned from the post to fill the nomination for the Rajya Sabha. Gupta is also the founder and CEO of the Trident Company and took the responsibility in place of Sanjeev Arora.

Senior party leaders have congratulated Rajinder Gupta and expressed confidence that they will raise the voice of the common man in Parliament firmly. The Rajya Sabha election process is expected to start in the coming week.

Please tell that after the resignation of MP Sanjeev Arora, voting and counting will be held on this seat, which was vacated on 24 Akbatur. The by -election notification will be held on October 6. The last date for nomination is 13 October. The withdrawal of nominations will be done by 16 October. On October 24, voting will be held from 9 am to 4 pm. The result will be announced in the evening.
