Abhijeet Deepke’s parents are also scared!

Before the incident – and due to CJP’s rapid rise in popularity on social media – the parents of its founder Abhijeet Deepke had expressed fears that their son might get into trouble or even be arrested. Abhijeet’s parents also reiterated that they do not want their son to enter politics.

Cockroach Janata Party formed after CJI’s comments
It is noteworthy that Cockroach Janata Party has been in the headlines across the country. On Thursday (May 21), CJP’s ‘X’ account was banned in India. After this, a new handle was created with the name ‘Cockroach is Back’. Chief Justice Surya Kant had reportedly compared unemployed youth to cockroaches and parasites. However, the CJI later issued a clarification saying that his comments were misinterpreted and that his comments were specifically directed at individuals who enter the legal profession using fake degrees.

After these comments of CJI, ‘Cockroach Janata Party’ came into existence on 15 May. CJP was founded by Abhijeet, a student at Boston University. The organization currently has over 20 million followers on Instagram.
